Pros and Cons


  • We have a 6-motor drivetrain to provide maximum power for pushing other robots

  • The motors are 200 rpm with a gear ratio of 84/60 which provides a total of 280 revolutions per minute

  • The wheels are connected to each other through gears ensuring all wheels will be powered even if one of the motors break down


  • Took up lots of space due to the multiple gear ratios so the other components may not fit

  • 6 motors were used solely on the drivetrain which allowed only 2 motors to be used for the flywheel and intake

  • Omni wheels let people push us around easily
