Pros and Cons


  • Having only one motor saves space for other, more important, components.

  • Gears and chains are connected to all wheels to make sure all wheels are powered.

  • 2 encoders are added to make sure autonomous trials stay consistent every time

  • 2 more wheels were also added for more traction and balance


  • Speed was sacrificed with the reduction of two motors

  • With the addition of two more wheels, there was an increase in friction which led to occasional inconsistent autonomous runs.
