Change Up Intake V2

Pros:

  • Intake is folded to reach inside the goal zone and grab all balls easily while fitting under the size limit of 18 inches

  • Easier to intake cubes due to the 200 rpm motor with a 5:18 speed ratio 

  • Roller in the back of the intake to hold balls and prevent them from coming out during movement of the robot

Cons:

  • Ability to extend sacrifices the compression of the intakes since the intakes are able to expand 

  • Deploy has a slight chance of failing

  • Sometimes, the intake may shake after excessive use. 

We changed our intake to a pop out intake to make it easier to grab balls inside the goal zones and to make the intake speed more efficient
