Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • To ensure all wheels are powered, a chain was connected between the wheels

  • Since the speed from two 200 rpm motors was sufficient enough for this competition, we decided to stick with it.

  • The drivetrain is also structurally sound allowing for an equal distribution of mass.

Cons:

  • Having two motors on the drivetrain meant that if the robot was to get stuck somewhere, it wouldn't have enough power to get out.
